Personnel marketing: more attractive for specialists Personnel marketing and employer branding can make the difference between success and failure - for your company too. If you don't have good people, in the worst case scenario you will no longer be able to serve your customers. But how do you find suitable and motivated employees? This has become difficult in many industries and professions. The answer is: with clever marketing - sound in strategy and bold in implementation. Strategy forms the basis Before you engage in HR marketing and advertise jobs, for example, you should ask yourself who your target groups are and where and how you can reach them. Write down in an employer value proposition how you will convince future employees of your company. It is also important that you create an internal understanding of HR marketing and obtain the necessary resources. An impulse workshop can help you, as can external sparring partners such as HR lateral thinkers or advertising agencies with personnel marketing expertise. Prove your courage on the market Good advertising is well thought-out and bold - even in HR marketing. It helps you to position yourself as an attractive, sought-after employer and attract the attention of qualified and motivated specialists and managers. You can generate clicks with fresh ideas, but an informative, user-friendly landing page - your career hub on the company website - is just as important. The choice of channels depends on your target groups and your industry, but today you should also be present on online channels such as LinkedIn, Google for Jobs or YouTube. Don't forget existing employees After the game is before the game. If you have hired new talent, you should take care of them. Satisfied employees stay longer and are happy to recommend their employer to others. That's why you should also think about measures to develop, retain and win back employees. HR marketing from Rocket We developed a personnel marketing campaign for bus drivers for the Lucerne public transport company (vbl). It proved effective, led to the recruitment of new chauffeurs and drivers and helped vbl to present itself as an attractive employer. We also provided the HR department with comprehensive support for several internal communication projects, for example in the area of compliance. We used a multi-part campaign on various channels to familiarize employees with the topic. Share on Back to the magazine Are you interested?
